KL Acting Studio · Lafayette, LA

Cinematic acting training that builds real skill and confidence.

KL Acting Studio (KLAS) is a film-and-television-focused studio — not a recreational drama class. Serious preparation, honest feedback, and real creative opportunity for young performers ages 5–18.

Why this studio exists

Most young performers don't need games — they need presence, believable choices, practical preparation, and someone who can teach the person, not just demonstrate technique. KLAS was founded in April 2024 to give students that: cinematic, on-camera training informed by real teaching experience.

The philosophy

Presence before performance. Believability over empty technique. Technique matters — but it has to serve truthful behavior, clear intention, active listening, and connection. Students learn to make specific choices, take creative risks, collaborate, and recover when a take doesn't go perfectly.

What we promise — and what we don't

We promise serious preparation, honest feedback, age-appropriate development, creative opportunity, and a professional standard of behavior. We do not promise fame, representation, union eligibility, or guaranteed casting. KLAS is an acting studio, not a talent agency.

For parents

Clear age ranges, expectations, schedules, and policies; documented safety, communication, and media-permission practices; and progress information that respects each student's dignity and creative independence. Full enrollment details and policies are shared at inquiry.

Common questions

What ages do you work with?

Current youth programs serve ages 5–18. Adult and professional programs are planned.

Do you guarantee my child will book work?

No — and we'll never claim to. We build craft, confidence, and professional habits. Booking is never guaranteed by any honest studio.

How do we start?

Send an inquiry with your child's age and interests, and we'll explain the best fit.
